EMT Electronics, Inc. was incorporated in September of 1981 in the state of Louisiana. Over the years, EMT Electronics, Inc. has fostered steady growth in industrial, as well as marine electrical and electronics sales and service. Our unwavering commitment is to our customers, giving them quality professional services for over 40 years.
EMT Electronics, Inc. is headquartered in Houma, Louisiana, United States and primarily serves the Gulf of Mexico region, but often performs services throughout the United States and worldwide. All senior technicians are experienced, knowledgeable and capable in the field of marine and industrial electronics and electrical systems. In addition, EMT staffs an EEBS engineer and FCC licensed personal to help service your needs. We also have knowledgeable sales associates with product technical knowledge and capabilities.
EMT Electronics, Inc. has an extensive inventory of the newest equipment and repair techniques for most marine electronic manufactures: Antennas and mounts for VHF – SSB – LMR, over-air Omni-directional, directional and Satellite TV antenna, Radar, GPS & GPS plotters, VHF radio fixed mounted and handheld, single side band (SSB) radio, autopilots and steering, depth sounder, wind gauge, power supplies, battery chargers and reverts, magnetic compasses and gyro compasses, navigation equipment, rudder angle indicator (RAI), EPIRB, SART, AIS, SSAS, VMS systems, closed circuit camera systems (CCTV), etc. EMT Electronics, Inc. has been providing US Coast Guard and ABS, SOLAS inspections for over 30 years.
We also have a marine electrical division with capabilities to service and install generators, engine alarm panels, engine and shaft tach systems, bow thrusters, dynamic positioning systems, vessel periodic test procedure-automation certifications, vessel electrical systems, breakers, soft starts, variable frequency drives (VFD), engine over telegraph (EOT), Cap Rock, etc. with extensive inventory of parts for repairs, including some hard to find obsolete parts.
